What is RISE?

Building Strong & Sustainable Families

RISE members begin with a 6-month educational program and continue with involvement for at least another 18 months. Weekly contact with their RISE community and meetings with their personal development team help RISE members reach and maintain stability.

Families in Project RISE are:

  • Reducing debt
  • Improving credit scores
  • Increasing income
  • Strengthening confidence
  • Gaining hope

What to expect

Meetings are on Thursdays

Dinner is available before class at 5:30pm

Childcare is available during class 6:15 to 7:15/30

    To assist you in reaching your goals

  • Tax Assistance

    To help access and manage you Earned Income Tax Credit

  • Parenting Training

    Training through a variety of programs to meet your parenting needs.

  • Housing

    Resources through a variety of programs for your specific needs.

  • Monthly Budgeting

    Budgeting assistance, banking relationships & individualized financial plans. 

  • Legal Resources

    Legal resources & referrals for a variety of needs. 

  • Healthcare

    Assistance finding healthcare and mental healthcare resources

Is your family eligible?

Requirements:



  • A Family (Minimum 1 adult and 1 dependent)
  • Make less than $50,000 a year* (for a family of 4 or more)
  • High School Education (or able to complete in 6 months)
  • Connected with your community
  • Ready to make a change
